What the extension does

DeepSeek Export adds an export button to the DeepSeek chat interface. When you use it, the extension reads the conversation you're viewing and builds a PDF, Word, or Markdown file from it — entirely inside your browser — then hands the file to your browser's normal download.

What we collect

Nothing. We don't run a backend for the export feature, we don't have a database, and there's no place for your conversation data to go. We don't see your chats, your DeepSeek account, or anything you export.

What stays on your device

Everything. The extension reads the page you're on and generates the file locally, right inside your browser. The finished document is saved straight to your computer. Nothing is uploaded to a server we control.

Network requests

The export itself needs no server of ours. The extension works with the DeepSeek pages you already have open; it makes no requests to us, and it does not send your conversations to any third party.

Permissions, in plain English

• Access to the DeepSeek chat site — so the export button can read the conversation you're viewing and turn it into a file.
• Downloads — to save the exported PDF, Word, or Markdown file to your computer.

Payments

If you buy a paid plan, checkout is handled by our payment processor. We receive your subscription or purchase status — never your card details — and that's used only to unlock unlimited exports for your install.

Third parties

We don't sell, share, or transfer your conversation data, because we never collect it in the first place. There are no analytics scripts or ad trackers in the extension.

Children

The extension isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect anything from anyone, regardless of age.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date above.
